Photo Assignment 2 - Food

This Week I took pictures of Food. I wanted to get all types of food, mostly deserts, at cool angles to make people want to eat them.  I found a few different kinds of deserts to take pictures of and put them with a plain yellow background. I stacked up apples, decorated brownies, and took photos of my dinner. I hope you enjoy!

This week I worked with food. I learned how to make food look more appetizing and get good cool looking angles on it. I tried framing my food with other food, for example: I tried framing brownies and apples with a doughnut, but it didn't work out very well. I also played around with apples and did different things to brownies.

Photo Assignment 2 - Food

This week I took photos of food. I tried taking pictures of many different kinds of food until i finally got ones I liked. I took many different pictures with different angles and positioning of the food.

Inspiration For Photography Assignments 2

This week I am doing food. I want to get different perspectives and cool angles on different types of it. I think it would be cool to get lots of pictures of lots of different kinds of food.

These pictures inspire me because they are really well taken and unique. I like how they are simple but get a good angle on the food. I also like the ideas and what they were going for in the photos. This is what I am going to try to do this week.

Photo Assignment 1 - Animals

For this week I took pictures of animals. My idea was to get an animal in action doing things that they like to do. I decided to play with my cat to get him in the air playing with his toys.

This week I learned how to take pictures of animals. I took many different ones trying to get better angles and lighting. I didn't have a very good background so I tried to fill up the picture with my cat to take the focus off of the background. I had my brother playing with the cat so I could get a photo of him up in the air playing with his toy.

Motion Demo

For this assignment we had to take a picture of someone on a motorcycle. We were told to take a picture as he was riding by. The idea was to get a picture with a blurred background so the motorcycle stood out.




I learned how to take pictures of moving objects. I learned how to do panning and make the background blurry. It was a little difficult at first trying to figure out how to pan, but with practice it got easier.

Car Demo

For this assignment we were given a picture of a car. It was unedited when we got it, and we were given an example of a finished edited car. We were told to edit it exactly like the example.





For this assignment I learned how to edit pictures. I learned how to select certain parts of the picture so you can do things to just that part. I also learned how to change the color of the picture and how to crop it.

Pop Art

For this assignment we had to take a picture of our self. We were then given directions to cut the document into 4 sections and put one copy in each section. We then changed the saturation to change the color of the picture and finished with 4 copies all in 4 different colors.




From this assignment I learned how to make pop art. I learned how to divide it into 4 different sections so that i could put 4 different copies of one picture together. I also learned how to change the color of the picture by changing the different exposures and saturations, and how to completely change the look of a picture by editing.

Inspiration For Photography Assignments

For this week I am doing animals. I want to take pictures of different types of them just being themselves. I was inspired from pictures of many different kinds of animals.

These photos inspired me to take pictures of animals to capture their personality in a picture. Each of these pictures shows a unique perspective of each of the different kinds of animals, and makes me want to take more like them.
